She wasn’t suicidal, she was manipulated into killing herself because the First can’t kill her physically, only mentally. Chloe was scared and easy for the First to kill. It’s also frustrating because she knows it was the First and wants them to understand it’s just the First trying to kill them one by one. As per usual it falls on Buffy, she’s right that the First has the slayer using her power to dig their graves.
